A little history:
shines & jecker's partnership is the result of an experimental lab at the University of Southern Maine. Two researchers, Sarah and Jen, soon realized they had great (ahem) chemistry, and the concept of shines & jecker labs was born. From that research laboratory they were taught to value and require a sense of innovation, sharing, and community spirit. They vowed one day to build a company that honored and embraced those principles.
Together again:
Seven years and hundreds of sites later we've joined forces again. Our mission: to use our experience, knowledge, skills, and creativity to better web interaction and computing for everyone. All while developing the sense of community and collaboration that our relationship was founded on.

Sarah is our Jane of All Trades. She is a project manager, programmer, troubleshooter, server admin, and conversation starter. Her analytical, detail-oriented solutions keep our clients’ long-term goals in mind.

Jecker – The Pixel Surgeon
Jennifer has been creating for the web for over seven years, enabling her to work on hundreds of web sites. Her specialty is creating not only the graphic design for a site, but also the code behind it. Before co-founding shines & jecker labs, she spent years freelancing as a CSS expert.
